The renovation of the Laughing Waters Beach House in Southold, NY included a rework of the master bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room, as well as modernization of the guest bathroom. The focal point of the home is the new Malm Mid-Century Modern Zircon fireplace and shelving with log storage installed during the renovation. Each aspect of this home feels modern and airy, and has coastal touches at every turn. Re: Design worked with the owners to develop the new shelving system to suit their needs. Rebuck included a travertine seat at the bottom so the owners could sit close to the fire during the winter. Walnut wood shelving was installed above the travertine to house the owners’ book collection.
